The daily transaction volume on the Fantom network has reached record levels, presumably due to the growing popularity of the Ordinals analogue in the form of FRC-20 tokens. On November 23, the figure approached 3 million—almost double the previous high in September 2021. The surge in on-chain activity was accompanied by a sharp increase in the cost of gas - up to 10,000 Gwei and above. Despite the revival in the Fantom blockchain, average daily transaction fees remained virtually unchanged.
