Kawasaki from Japan has revealed a prototype of a hydrogen-powered, four-legged robot designed to be ridden like a horse. Called CORLEO, the robot was introduced during a preview event for the upcoming Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025. Built for rough terrain, with legs that mimic the movements of agile animals like deer and panthers. Unlike a motorcycle, it walks on four robotic legs, making it ideal for off-road adventures. The robot runs on hydrogen and a 150cc engine. Kawasaki plans to launch CORLEO within 25 years as a new way to explore rough terrain. It features AI for balance and navigation, reacts to the riderโ€™s body movements, and includes a heads-up display (HUD) showing hydrogen levels, route info, and weight balance. The concept model doesnโ€™t yet include full specs like speed or battery life. But Kawasaki sees it as a future alternative to traditional off-road motorcycles.--Technology Innovation
